E3 2015: Runbow will add online multiplayer and Adventure mode; demo up for one week

lundi 15 juin 2015

Prior to all of the pre-E3 madness that went down this morning, the folks at 13AM Games made an announcement for their upcoming racing brawler Runbow. An unmistakable concern that Shacknews had went hands-on with the game in the past was rounding up eight other players for nine-player multiplayer. Fortunately, that looks to have been address, as Runbow will now feature online multiplayer at launch.

As for the present, Runbow now has a downloadable demo right now on the Wii U eShop. This will give users an opportunity to try out the colorfully competitive romp for themselves. The demo is only available for download until June 22. As an extra incentive, those that download the demo can then pick up the final version of Runbow for 15 percent off when it releases later this year.

Finally, a new single-player Adventure mode was unveiled. To see what that looks like, check out the trailer below.

Microsoft released a new trailer just a few weeks prior to the start of E3 2015, and today, it has more of the game to show off during its press conference.

The demo started with Lara Croft lighting a flare and exploring a dark cave before wandering out into a blizzard. The explorer then braved the treacherous conditions, trudging through the deep snow and navigating unstable ledges before climbing up an icy wall. As she reached the top, the cliff became unstable and knocked her off. As she gathered her bearings, it was then time to outrun an incoming avalanche.

The big news came after the demo, with Crystal Dynamics revealing that Rise of the Tomb Raider would release on November 10.
