Overkill Software will be bringing its The Walking Dead game to E3, but prior to the start of the show, the developer behind the Payday series has announced it will be a VR game. Not only that, but Starbreeze has emerged as an unlikely competitor in the growing VR wars, announcing that it would release its own headset, dubbed Star VR.
Starbreeze made the announcement during a special event at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. The VR headset is an ambitious piece of work, with Starbreeze noting that it would include dual 5K resolution monitors, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 210 degree field of view.
