Team Fortress 2 has been pioneering custom creation on Steam for several years, ushering in the Steam Workshop back in 2011. Now the custom creation aspect of Valve's team-based shooter is expanding further by introducing the Maps Workshop.
Currently in beta, the Maps Workshop allows users to instantly upload any custom maps they may have created. Players can then browse the Maps Workshop and jump into any server running those maps. Those players can then up-vote and subscribe to any maps they like.
