Twitch had a large presence at E3 last year, taking the torch from traditional television outlets like the former G4 and Spike TV and offering wall-to-wall coverage from its main streaming channels. Following last year's success, Twitch will return to E3 and has outlined some of the events that it will be covering this year.
Coverage will begin in earnest on Sunday, June 14 with the Nintendo World Championships, followed by the Bethesda E3 Showcase. Monday, Twitch will be the place to go for press conferences from Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Sony. Tuesday will shift to Nintendo and Square Enix with back-to-back presentations in the morning, with the evening set to conclude with the exclusive broadcast of the PC Gaming Show.
This year's festivities will be hosted by Jon Carnage, Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham, and Jordan "Soma" Tayer. They'll be joined throughout the week by streamers MANvsGAME, Ezekiel_III, Swiftor (insert SwiftRage emote here), Seltzer, Anna Prosser, and djminiWHEAT. Twitch will also increase its foreign language presence for E3 by broadcasting in German from the Rocket Beans TV channel and in French from the Jeuxvideo channel. All Twitch users will also have the option to co-stream the broadcast by sharing the official Twitch broadcast on their own channels.
