Battlefield Hardline manager leaves EA

jeudi 9 avril 2015

Battlefield Hardline developer Visceral Games will no longer have Steve Papoutsis as its general manager as Electronic Arts has replaced him with Scott Probst.

Papoutsis work on the Dead Space series as well as assisting with the launch of Visceral Games’ latest project, Battlefield Hardline. As of now, the exact reasons as to why Papoutsis was replaced are unknown at this moment, although an EA representative responded to the report by saying “We are thankful for Steve’s many contributions to EA and wish him the best.”

Dead Space 3, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel and Battlefield Hardline didn’t exactly sell as well as we’re sure EA would have liked in the US, which could be seen as a hint as to why EA decided to replace Papoutsis. Either way, this change in management could hopefully be the catalyst to help bring the development studio back to its glory days.
