Invisible Inc. vanishes from Steam Early Access for May 12 release

Klei's stealthy spy game, Invisible Inc., is ready to disappear from the world of Steam Early Access. The developer behind Don't Starve and Mark of the Ninja has given their latest effort an official release date, with the finalized version set to debut on May 12. And like any good spy, the Early Access version has disappeared without a trace in preparation for that date.

Klei made the announcement on their official website (via Indie Haven). In addition to giving a final PC release date, the developer also announced that they would be bringing Invisible Inc. to PlayStation 4. A release date for this console version has not been announced.

For those unfamiliar with Klei's latest effort, Invisible Inc. sees players controlling one of the titular spy agency's operatives along an isometric 3D plane. Maps are procedurally-generated, which will keep agents on their toes. The final version of the game will add additional game modes, unlockable agents, and overhauled visuals that include fully-animated 3D cinematics.

While the Steam Early Access version of Invisible Inc. is no longer available for purchase, those that have already picked it up will continue to play on the current build until launch day. For more on Invisible Inc., check out the trailer below.
