Yet another popular video game franchise will be getting the endless runner treatment as Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have announced Lara Croft: Relic Run.
Lara Croft: Relic Run is being developed by Simutronics, a mobile games studio that has experience in the endless runner genre with its One Epic Knight. Relic Run is being touted as an “adventure runner” and will allow players to seamlessly transition between freerunning, combat vehicles, and boss fights, one of which may or may not involve a T-Rex.
The game has been soft launched on both iOS and Android in the Netherlands this morning and is expecting to launch as a free-to-play game globally in the coming months on iOS, Android, and Windows 8 Phone.
