Today's Nintendo Direct offered up some news on the Wii U Virtual Console. The Virtual Console will now include both Nintendo 64 games and Nintendo DS games. While the N64 isn't a huge leap, given that its library was on the previous-generation Wii, the DS is a notable addition. The Wii U GamePad will function as a DS game's second screen, while N64 games with rumble functionality will also be included.
These offerings begin today, with Yoshi's Island DS and Super Mario 64 available immediately following today's Nintendo Direct.
