Armored Warfare begins first early access tests this week

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com can no longer contain their massive fleet of bunker-busting, land-flattening, heavy artillery tanks. The time has finally come Armored Warfare to hold its first Early Access Tests. With over one million registrants, Obsidian and My.com announced today that the game's first tests will begin later today and last until June 3.

The Early Access test will feature 38 vehicles across six tiers battling it out over four PvP maps. These maps are Cold Strike, Port Storm. River Point, and Ghost Field, all of which have their own destructible points of interest. The test will allow look to offer commander and crew skills, tank upgrades, various shells, and the game's battalion clan system. Obsidian emphasizes that this is an early build of the game and will be looking for player feedback, as well as taking notes on what needs to be balanced and optimized.

The tests will run each day from 5 to 8PM PDT, with an extended 4 to 9PM PDT testing period on the weekend. The free-to-play Armored Warfare is in line to hit open beta soon with a final release expected soon after. Players can get into the Early Access Test by signing up on the Armored Warfare website or by purchasing one of the game's Founders Packs.
