Hearthstone has been flourishing with its nine classes and, by extension, it's nine avatars for those classes. But sometimes, it's just a little too much to look at Garrosh Hellscream's ugly mug. Fortunately, Blizzard is now instituting entirely new hero skins, starting with the Warrior.
After purchase, the Warrior will be replaced by the dwarf warrior, Magni Bronzebeard. Magni will come with his own distinct animations and emotes, which includes a new animation for the Armor Up hero ability. Purchasing a hero skin like Magni will also include a new cardback, as well as a new play area and an entrance animation. More information can be found on Battle.net.
The price? Well, you may want to sit down for this one. The price for Magni, and all other new hero skins, is $9.99... each. That's the same price for seven new decks and also more expensive than six Arena runs. Nine hero skins total will run for a whopping $90. So it looks like Blizzard is rolling the dice and asking its audience, "Just how bad do you want this?"
