Microsoft has released a new trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider today that offers a glimpse of Lara Croft’s drive and motivation in this new adventure.
In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara will visit some of the most treacherous and remote regions of the world, although she’ll have help from some of the most well-known explorers around. Her experiences in Rise of the Tomb Raider help her embrace her destiny as the Tomb Raider.
In addition to today’s trailer, Xbox and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the box art for Rise of the Tomb Raider, which you can view below the trailer.
It's still a little surreal to see Microsoft publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider as a timed exclusive, but considering how well the Tomb Raider reboot did for both Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix, we're not completely surprised. Microsoft needs more exclusives to help sell the Xbox One, and having a new Tomb Raider game as a timed exclusive should help, as long as they know how to market it.
