Bossa Studios is celebrating Star Wars Day with an unexpected update to I Am Bread that introduces us to Starch Wars - A New Loaf.
The Starch Wars update allows players to fight the forces of Dough Baker and his squad of Rye Fighters in an attempt to take down the Starch Destroyer.
"Following the destruction of the Petrol Station, the remaining crumbs of the rebellious fleet have been intercepted as they head to the planet of All-dough-naan," reads the description of the trailer for Starch Wars. "A lone freedom fighter with the call sign Bread Leader picks up the distress signal and speeds to their aid. And yep, you guessed it; he's their only hope."
Those who already own I Am Bread will be able to play Starch Wars once they complete the first chapter of the game. For those interested in checking out Starch Wars, I Am Bread is currently available on Steam for $13.
We can't think of any better way to spend a few hours of May the 4th by flying a piece of toast across space in order to blow up a Death Star-esque space station.
