Bionic Commando swings its way onto the Nvidia Grid game streaming service, ready to take advantage of the newly implemented 1080p, 60 frames per second technology that will show the game's rich graphics in all its intended glory.
Originally released in 2009 for consoles and PC, Bionic Commando is the first true sequel to the 1988 classic for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The story takes place five years after the bionically enhanced Nathan "RAD" Spencer defeated the Imperials, and things are rough. Not only is Nathan betrayed by the government he once served, but he is also sentenced to death for crimes he didn't commit. But he gets a reprieve in the worst way when a terrorist group called Bio-Reign detonate a cataclysmic weapon in Ascension City on the day of his execution. Massive earthquakes erupt, leaving the city in ruins and its population wiped out.
The devastation gives Nathan a chance to redeem himself and clear his name by infiltrating the terrorists from within the city. Equipped with a powerful bionic arm, Nathan can grapple and swing his way across town, lift and throw heavy objects, and bat enemies around before pummeling them. Furthermore, players have access to an arsenal of weapons to fire at enemies. Swing into action and blast away enemies that range from cybernetically enhanced soldiers to giant mechs.
As a big departure from previous games and spin-offs like Bionic Commando Rearmed, this game is built from the ground up using stunning 3D graphics. So, players are free to explore the open world, swing up high, and rain down gunfire on enemies.
The fast action and explosive gameplay make it the perfect addition to the Nvidia Grid streaming service, which is only accessible through your Nvidia Shield tablet, console, or portable. So, log into the grid and experience what it's like to be bionically enhanced.
