Mortal Kombat X welcomes Jason Voorhees on May 5

NetherRealm Studios has announced Jason Voorhees will be making his debut in Mortal Kombat X on May 5, according to this week’s Kombat Kast.

To help fuel Jason’s murderous rage, NetherRealm Studios will be holding a special episode of Kombat Kast on May 4th to show him in action, which we’re hoping means we’ll catch a glimpse of his variations. The following day, Jason will be available for Kombat Pack owners and will then become available for individual purchase a week later on May 12.

Jason Voorhees was one of the first characters to be announced as part of Mortal Kombat X’s Kombat Pack, which is just another name for its season pass. We also learned shortly after Jason’s reveal we would be able to play as Predator and a number of other characters in the future.
