Asus has announced a new entry in its ZenBook series of notebooks that features a 15.6-inch 4K/UHD display, an Intel Core i7 processor and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics chip.
The ZenBook Pro UX501 features a slim chassis at 0.81-inches thin that houses a 4K/UHD IPS display with 100% sRGB color gamut, a wide 178-degree viewing angle, and a pixel density of 282 PPI. Underneath its hood is the Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor, 16GB of RAM, and the GTX 960M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
Other notable features includes a 512GB PCIe x4 SSD that is able to read/write at speeds of up to 1400MB/s, 802.11ac, a Thunderbolt 2.0, 3x USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, an audio jack combo port, and an SD/SDXC card reader. The notebook also features a full-sized backlit keyboard with number pad.
The ZenBook Pro UX501 is available on the Asus Store and across select retailers for $1799.
