As Star Wars Day comes to a close here on Shacknews, there's still one more piece of Star Wars-related content going up today. It's another old-school Star Wars classic, this time taking a trip back to 2003 to jump back into Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
Jedi Academy was developed by the team at Raven Software (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Singularity, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance) as a first and third-person shooter set after the events of the original film trilogy. Players would jump into the role of a student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, living out the further adventures of a post-Return of the Jedi world. Jedi Academy was built using an iteration of id Software's Quake III: Team Arena engine, with Raven releasing the source code to the public two years ago.
For today, Andrew Zucosky and Joe Stasio are playing a few rounds of the game's multiplayer. See if the Force is strong with them in the video below. For more, be sure to subscribe to Shacknews on YouTube.
