Nintendo partners with Universal Parks for new rides and attractions

jeudi 7 mai 2015

Nintendo has partnered with Universal Parks & Resorts to bring a number of dedicated experiences based on the former’s games, characters, and worlds.

This partnership will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature a number of Nintendo’s most famous characters and games.

Both Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts will have more details on this partnership in the future as both parties are currently working on creating a number of specific concepts.

This wouldn't be the first time Universal has helped create video-game related experiences within its parks as there was a Silent Hill attraction back in 2012.

We look forward to learning more about what could possibly come out of this partnership, especially if it allows Nintendo fans to live their fantasies of attempting to rescue a princess from various castles, only to be told they were in another castle. Or possibly bring Captain Toad Treasure Tracker to life, sans all of the dangerous enemies, lava, and bullet bills whizzing at our heads.

Have an idea of what could turn out to be a cool Nintendo-themed ride or experience? Feel free to share them below in the comments. We’d love to hear what you come up with.
