Tom Clancy's The Division delayed to 2016

mardi 12 mai 2015

It's been quite a day for Ubisoft. On the heels of offering a first look at its latest Assassin's Creed game, Ubisoft also released its an investor document outlining its financials and upcoming slate. In that document, Tom Clancy's The Division was noticeably slotted for a 2016 release window.

Shacknews reached out to Ubisoft, where a source verified that the open-world shooter has indeed slipped to next year. Further information, including an exact release date, was not divulged. The Division is currently listed as a Q4 release, which puts its release roughly between January and March of next year.

Other notable items to emerge from the investor report include Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege set to release in Q3, which essentially nails it down for a Fall 2015 release. That should make the wait for The Division slightly easier.
