Corporations and the like are as much a hot button topic in the future as they are in the present. Stardock foresaw this back in 2001 with its real-time economic strategy game known as The Corporate Machine. Now Stardock is bringing it to Steam for the first time.
The Corporate Machine puts players in the role of an intergalactic CEO that must use economic strategy to control the galaxy and put their competitors out of business. Players can specialize in marketing, engineering, or manufacturing while consolidating their power across automobiles, aircraft, and computers. Steam features will include online multiplayer for up to eight players.
It should be noted that this is the 2001 game as you remember it, visuals and all. Don't look for any remastered graphics here, but simply look for the game as it was. The Steam version of The Corporate Machine is out now with a $9.99 price tag. For more, check out the trailer below.
