The last ten years have marked something of a renaissance for Batman in video games. Just as Christopher Nolan's trilogy restored the Dark Knight's name in movies, the Arkham series (along with a leading role in Netherrealm's Injustice: Gods Among Us) has thrust the Batman near the top of the video game mountain. Of course, Batman has had something of a checkered past prior to setting foot in Arkham Asylum.
Today's Shack Reels takes a look at a history of Batman in games. But our own Andrew Zucosky isn't so much focusing on the cult classic NES-era beat-em-ups, as he is some of the Caped Crusader's… stranger outings.
