Sunset Overdrive has one final piece of content for its Season Pass holders, as Insomniac prepares to drop the Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines DLC. As the name implies, machines are about to wreak havoc, which means tougher foes. Today, Insomniac is detailing just how tough they are in a short new video.
The video below details some of the upgraded enemies set to make the debut. That includes the Security Sniper Bot, holding a deadly sniper rifle, and the Security Blade Bot, which will self-destruct when its health is low.
For those that need a refresher, Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines is an add-on that will have Sam break into the Fizzco Robotics factory to save his mentors from certain soft drink-related doom. The factory will be filled with conveyor belts and floating platforms, while offering a new mode of transportation in the form of the energy ball. The energy ball can also be used to run over foes.
Sunset Overdrive's Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines DLC is set to release on April 1 and will be free to all Season Pass holders. For more, check out the video below.
